It is infused from a technology developed to overcome the thermal limitations.
Most of these PCBs are made of Aluminum core, copper core, and Steel Alloy.

Metal core PCB is ideal for its applications that generate immense heat and have difficulty being cool down using conventional fans or other cooling methods.

could be 384 w/m.k (direct chip on copper)

FR4 is approx only 0.3 W/m.K

2. Dimensional stability

It is clear that the size of the metal-based printed circuit board
more stable than insulating materials.

The size change of 2.5 ~ 3.0% when Aluminum PCB and
aluminum sandwich panels was heated from 30 ℃ to 140 ~ 150 ℃.
