Differences between traditional manual exposure machine, CCD semi-automatic exposure machine and LDI exposure machine

Manual exposure machine: manually paste the film negative, and then put it on the exposure table for exposure. Advantages: boards with different material numbers can be put in the same exposure, and multiple material numbers can be produced at the same time, which is suitable for small and medium batches; Disadvantages: manual alignment is required, and skilled workers are required to operate, and high-precision boards cannot be produced

CCD exposure machine: the film is fixed on the upper and lower tables, and eight axes control four cameras for automatic alignment. Advantages: high precision; Disadvantages: can only expose one model and one board at a time

LDI exposure machine: using laser scanning imaging technology, no need to use negative film, import engineering CAM design files into the equipment, set it up for automatic exposure, advantages: high precision, no need for negative film, no line width tolerance loss due to negative film drawing; Disadvantages: slow exposure speed, high cost
The exposure speed is faster than the CCD semi-automatic exposure machine when using quick dry film (using traditional dry film LDI equipment has basically met the same output of the semi-automatic exposure machine), the efficiency of LDI exposure machine for making samples is better than the traditional CCD semi-automatic exposure machine;
LDI exposure machine can It is divided into fixed expansion and contraction, partition expansion and contraction, automatic expansion and contraction and other modes. Compared with traditional CCD semi-automatic exposure machines, it has more advantages and is more beneficial to the production of HDI boards, etc.;
At present, all PCB board factories pay attention to process control and quality traceability. Traditional CCD semi-automatic exposure machines cannot express serial marks, while LDI exposure machines can easily do so through software, thereby achieving the purpose of process control and quality traceability;
Compared with traditional CCD semi-automatic exposure machines, LDI exposure machines have lower energy consumption (the overall energy consumption of LDI exposure machines is 4.5kw, and the overall energy consumption of traditional semi-automatic exposure machines is 10kw), which also saves a large part of the electricity cost of PCB suppliers;
LDI exposure machines are easier to realize automated operation than traditional CCD semi-automatic exposure machines, saving labor costs, greatly improving product quality, and avoiding the generation of defective rates.
The speed of the mechanical mechanism and the speed of the platform movement will be the third influencing factor, especially the acceleration and deceleration mechanism. When the circuit board must be moved to a new scanning area, the time required for its movement will directly affect the production speed. This concept is similar to that of a laser drilling machine.
In terms of speed, LDI has a slower exposure speed than CCD, so it is more suitable for making samples. Therefore, in the production process of PCB manufacturers, the two machines complement each other, greatly improving the efficiency of PCB factories in producing products and increasing production speed.
